The three photos below are of a well made black and white DELMONICO NIVICO PORTABLE TV COMPLETE WITH CASE, THIS IS A VERY WELL MADE PORTABLE TV.
THIS NICE PORTABLE TV FROM THE 1970'S IT A DELMONICO NIVICO T.V. COMES COMPLETE WITH THE CASE, HOOK UP CABLES, ANTENNA, I TURNED IT ON AND THE SCREEN COMES ON. NO SIGNAL DUE TO CONVERTER NEEDED. VERY NICE TV AND NOT THAT COMMON.
She came with a nice case to take her around in, very well designed TV.
The four photos below are of a Delmonico Nivico FMS-411 stereo 4 speaker-table radio with 11 tubes & a nice well made wooden case.
This is a nice look Delmonico Nivico working used 11 tube table top radio with wood case. The serial number 4149. She is made in Japan. has 4 speakers. Thes is a nice large size @ 24" x 8-1/2" x 7-1/4".
The radio dials read: balance, off-tone, volume, am/fm-mpx, tuner. lights read on/off and power. The tubes are blend of Matsushita and Hitachi. All look like they are labeled Flitz (? not sure).
She is really well made a true made in Japan treasure.
The three photos below are of a very nice well made ANTIQUE RADIO BRAND DELMONICO MODEL NOVUM MADE 1963 IN GERMANY
20 inches wide-12 inches tall, Casing in very good condition. Radio takes a while to warm up. Has some tuning problems, is restorable. Contains tube numbers; 6AQ8, 6AU8, 6V6, 6AJ8, 60C8, 6GW8, Short wave. Delmonico Model Dovum. Made bu Korting in Germany. Chassis number 24433 model 1047. A hi-fi unit. Radio is equipped with four speakers, one bass, one midrange and two tweeters. With independent bass and treble controls. Sounds great for a table radio. This unit has a transoceanic shortwave receiver. AM & Fm radio, also tape and phone inputs.
They do not make radios like this any-more any-where in the world...
Below is a wonderful Delmonico from around the year 1967 one of the last big tube radios to be made in the entire world. A real made in Japan beauty. She is the Delmonico Radio Model FMS-749... a really beautiful Tube Type Vintage Radio.
The photo above and the three below are of Jim Folmer's awesome Delmonico stereo. This is a very Mad Man model. Nice and lots of bells and whistles.
I really love the built in wine rack and liquor storage area.
I know Jim would love to find a good home for this beauty. What an awesome find.
Delmonico Nivico Company was a new and very combative company for Curtis Mathes to compete with back in the early days of the 1960’s.

These old girls came on line at the same time Curtis Mathes was making a place in the stereo market.

Below is a Delmonico/Nivico that was made by JVC. This is Model AW-6000 , this model was owned by Bob Hodge. Thank you Bob for sharing your beautiful photos of this model with us, and sharing your wonderful information with us.

Bob was able to get shortwave receptions from Australia, Germany, Cuba, China, Russia, Taiwan, Norway, BBC, New Zealand and many other Foreign Language stations with this model here on the west coast of the good old USA.
It is so good to see a radio this old in such nice condition. This model comes with original telescopic antenna, grill, knobs and a world map inside the lid which is a reproductions.
This well designed unit operates on DC {6 D-Cell Batteries} and it has an external connections for a tuner and earphones. The radio also has a rear panel for external connections.
